JKIA Wins Africa’s Leading Airport 2024
Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) has once again been named Africa’s Leading Airport for 2024 at the World Travel Awards! The award was presented during a glamorous ceremony at Diamonds Leisure Beach & Golf Resort in Diani Beach, Kenya. This marks another proud moment for JKIA as it continues to shine on the global stage.
The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) team, led by Acting Managing Director Mr. Henry Ogoye, was present to receive the award. They were joined by the Acting JKIA Airport Manager, Ms. Selina Gor, and the General Manager of Marketing and Business Development, Mr. Abraham Kiprutto, along with representatives from Diani Airport and KAA’s Head Office.
JKIA faced tough competition from other top airports across Africa, including:
Cape Town International Airport, South Africa, Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport, Morocco, Julius Nyerere International Airport, Tanzania, Kigali International Airport, Rwanda, King Shaka International Airport, Durban, South Africa, O.R. Tambo International Airport, South Africa.
