Ethiopian Airlines to Fly First Airbus A350-1000 to London
Ethiopian Airlines will make history by flying its first Airbus A350-1000 aircraft to London Heathrow starting November 3, 2024.
The Airbus A350-1000 is a modern, fuel-efficient aircraft that offers a smooth flying experience. It is bigger than the A350-900 model, which Ethiopian Airlines already operates, and can carry more passengers. The new aircraft is expected to provide better comfort and use less fuel, making it environmentally friendly.
The first route for this aircraft will be between Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and London, one of the airline’s busiest routes. Ethiopian Airlines aims to improve the travel experience for passengers with its spacious cabin design, quieter engines, and advanced technology onboard.
Ethiopian Airlines is already known for its strong presence in Africa and beyond, and the introduction of the A350-1000 shows the airline’s commitment to staying ahead in the aviation industry. This addition will help the airline compete better on international routes and strengthen its position as a leading African carrier.
