Kenya Airways Launches a Solution for Government Travel
Kenya Airways (KQ) has introduced a new service called The Asante Executive Hub at the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC) in Nairobi. This special travel center is designed to provide government and private sector executives with all their travel needs in one place. The Hub offers services like ticketing and customer care, ensuring convenience, safety, and efficiency for its clients.
At the launch event, Allan Kilavuka, the Group Managing Director and CEO of Kenya Airways, emphasized the airline’s commitment to top-notch service. He said, “The Asante Executive Hub is proof of our dedication to offering specialized and high-quality services to our government clients. This hub strengthens our role as the preferred partner for managing government travel, showcasing our promise of excellence while building a stronger relationship with government officials.”

Located at KICC, The Asante Executive Hub is perfectly positioned for international visitors attending conferences and events in Nairobi. This strategic location adds to the convenience for guests, further establishing Kenya Airways as a leader in managing travel for government and executive clients.
Julius Thairu, the Chief Commercial and Customer Officer of Kenya Airways, stated, “As part of our focus on customer satisfaction, we are constantly innovating and setting new standards in the travel industry. We are finding new ways to improve our services and provide long-term value to our customers, aligning with our goal to grow our presence, especially in the government and executive travel sectors.”
In the coming months, The Asante Executive Hub will become a fully accredited IATA Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) entity. This upgrade will allow Kenya Airways to expand its services further, including offering ticketing for other airlines, executive charter services, and advanced online travel management options.
