Airbus Opens New Support Centre in Johannesburg to Boost African Aviation
Airbus is expanding its footprint in Africa by launching a new customer support center in Johannesburg. This facility will serve as a central hub to assist African airlines, helping to improve operational efficiency and offering localized support.
Laurent Negre, vice president of customer services for Africa and the Middle East at Airbus, emphasized the importance of this center, stating, “Africa requires additional support and skills to meet the increasing demand for intra-African and international connectivity.” The move highlights Airbus’ commitment to fostering growth within Africa’s aviation industry.
