Airports Company of Zimbabwe Accredited as a Training Office by ICAZ

The Airports Company of Zimbabwe (ACZ) has reached a milestone by being accredited as a training office under the Training Outside Public Practice (TOPP) program. This recognition was awarded by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ). The accreditation allows ACZ to train future Chartered Accountants [CA(Z)] within the aviation sector.

As part of this new development, ACZ will soon welcome its first group of trainees. These individuals will receive specialized training in aviation finance, equipping them with the skills to become leaders in this growing industry.

Verengai Ruswa, expressed excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to mentor the next generation of Chartered Accountants. Reflecting on their journey, which included training at KPMG Zimbabwe and ICAZ, they highlighted the importance of giving back to the profession and helping shape future aviation finance experts.

This accreditation shows ACZ’s commitment to developing top talent in Zimbabwe and growing a new wave of skilled professionals in the aviation field. As the company prepares to begin training, the initiative marks a major step in building a strong pipeline of aviation finance leaders.
