BOC Aviation has announced that it will be delivering two Airbus A320NEO aircraft to Nouvelair, Tunisia’s first private airline, marking a new partnership between the companies. These aircraft are powered by advanced CFM LEAP-1A engines and are expected to be delivered within this year.
Paul Kent, Chief Commercial Officer for Europe, Americas, and Africa at BOC Aviation, expressed excitement about this new partnership. He said, “We are thrilled to welcome Nouvelair as a new customer as we expand into the rapidly growing North African aviation market. These aircraft, equipped with the latest technology, will enhance Nouvelair’s fleet with greater efficiency and modern features.”
Nouvelair is working on modernizing its fleet, and these two Airbus A320NEO aircraft will play a key role in that strategy. Chokri Zarrad, General Manager of Nouvelair, shared his enthusiasm about the collaboration with BOC Aviation. He noted, “We are excited about this partnership and look forward to a long-term relationship. Adding our first environmentally-friendly A320NEO is a major step in modernizing our fleet. By the third quarter of 2024, we aim to have a total of 15 aircraft.”
The Airbus A320NEO offers important benefits, such as reduced fuel consumption and lower CO2 emissions, which aligns with Nouvelair’s goal of maintaining efficiency while meeting passengers’ growing expectations for comfort and sustainability.
