Etihad Airways to Increase Flights to South Africa in Summer 2025

Etihad Airways is planning to boost its services to South Africa during the Northern summer of 2025. According to a recent schedule update, the airline will increase its flights on the Abu Dhabi to Johannesburg route.

Starting from March 30, 2025, Etihad will operate four flights per week between Abu Dhabi and Johannesburg. Then, from August 7, 2025, the airline plans to increase this to five flights per week.

Here is the flight schedule:

EY747: Departs Abu Dhabi at 02:20 AM and arrives in Johannesburg at 08:35 AM (except on Tuesdays and Saturdays).

EY748: Departs Johannesburg at 09:55 AM and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 07:50 PM (except on Tuesdays and Saturdays).
